How dark you can legally go

The state measures darkness as visible light transmission, the share of light that gets through the film and the glass together.

Windshield: Non-reflective film on the top 4 inches.
Front side windows: 88% VLT, almost clear, a UV shield.
Back side windows: Any darkness.
Rear window: Any darkness.
